Here are a few of my favorite opening cinematics to video games. I wanted to make this about all openings (to movies, too) so I could include the amazing Star Trek (2009) intro, but since I couldn’t find a link to that one, we’ll stick with these amazing game cinematics. =)

Good call with Bioshock! That was an awe inspiring intro! Another good call with Star Trek. That had to best the open to any movie ever. At least in the top 5. It gives me chills every time I watch it.
About Star Trek’s opening… me too!! I love that it’s its own self-contained heroic story.
