Today is Robo♥beat’s 1st birthday!
It’s amazing to think of how much my life has changed since launching this blog. I’ve been especially luck to meet so many awesome people online through WordPress and Twitter. If you want to meet some of them too, please check out my blogroll or look at all the people I follow on Twitter here. Many of them also contribute to Geek Force Network, a geek fest website started by the guys at At the Buzzer Show.
Mostly, I’ve just been having a blast writing about all of my favorite geeky interests and hearing from all of you about them, too. I feel so, so lucky to have so many readers, which is something I really didn’t think would happen. When I first started this blog, I didn’t expect anyone to find it. I thought this blog would be a good outlet for my writing and a way for me to get my interest in video games out there for potential jobs, etc… but developing a strong readership was something that came about unexpectedly and naturally. So thank you so much for reading, subscribing, leaving Likes, and sharing your thoughts in the comments. All of the feedback and support makes blogging here a much more fun and rewarding experience!
If you’re brave, you can go back and check out my very first post “Combat vs. Story in RPGs.” It has no pictures, and I hadn’t played Mass Effect 3 yet, so it’s pretty adorable.
